Please complete the form below. If you have a specific request, please include that in the 'Additional Comments' below. For our hired judges, our pay for judging a one-day tournament is $90-100.00. Two-three day tournaments pay more depending on length and event qualifications.
JUDGING PAYMENT:
NCFL PAYMENT: $200 for Saturday, 5/26, (4-5 rounds) and $100 for Sunday, 5/27 (usually only 2 or 3 rounds).
For in-person tournaments, pay is typically $125 per full day of judging speech and $150 per full day of judging Congress, LD, PF, and parliamentary debate (4-5 rounds of availability), prorated if necessary.
For virtual tournaments, pay is typically $100 per full day of judging synchronous speech (or $20 per asynchronous round) and $125 per full day of judging LD, PF, parliamentary debate and congress (4-5 rounds/2-3 congress sessions of availabillity), pro-rated if necessary.
All payment must be made via school check. There are no online payments or direct deposits.
Any travel costs MUST be preapproved by
ridgeforensicsfinance@bernardsboe.com prior to the tournament.
For our parents, please indicate your child's name below so we can properly credit them. All judge signups will be completed via this process this year. Please ensure you attend a judge training program before signing up to judge. You may use this form to sign up for training, if necessary.
If you are a hired judge, to ensure we have the correct addresses and information, please complete ridge.live/payment within 2 weeks of judging the event. Failure to complete the form within two weeks may result in forfeiture of payment.
